ART ON THE CAPE...
...proudly presents the ART & SOUL SUMMER Festival 2011.

Saturday 19th March (VIEW RUNNING SHEET)
9am – 4pm

This year has seen ART & SOUL move to the grounds of the Year 9 Environmental Centre at Newhaven College. This campus is located off the main road into Cowes at 1770 Phillip Island Tourist Rd, Sunset Strip, 3922 and boasts 82 acres of the islands most stunning views of Western Port Bay, historical Churchill Island and French Island.

This must see event is for both adults and children and offers over 50 art stalls, Rhythm, Soul & Blues music, kids entertainment, workshops and of course our well known variety of local gourmet food and wine.

As an added attraction, ART & SOUL will also showcase for the first time, the amazing and talented chainsaw sculptors from ARTISTRY, an international art group who perform, sculpt and sell their work all over the globe. Come and see how they create their artworks and have the opportunity to speak to them in person about their work processes and unique style.

This will also be an opportunity for collectors, business corporations and local councils, who are searching for that unique example of public art, to acquire these magnificent artworks from the artists themselves.

The chainsaw artists featured this year are: Brian Ruth (USA), Brett McLaine (USA), Peter Bowsher ( Scottland), Angie Polglaze ( AUS), Jim Petrillo (USA), Viktor Cebergs (USA), John Brady (AUS) and Boaz Backus (USA).
